The holidays feel like they are fast approaching, and I better get started on my handmade gifts. Last year was a complete cluster-fluff and I dropped the ball on most things that I intended to make. I’d like to get organized early so there is a chance that I can pull off what I need to get done in time.
CPAP hose covers for the guys: I made notes somewhere with the dimensions and total number that I need to make. Where are those notes? I have no idea. I intend to spend this weekend delving into the room and see if I can find them so that I can get started on prepping them to sew. I purchased everything I need for them (RIP Joann Fabric).
Teacher gifts: hats for each teacher-6 including Dr. Santiago
- The Twisted Reflection
- Everyday Slouchy Beanie
- Everglade
- Aran Horseshoe Cable Hat
- Cadillac Knot Ear Warmer- probably more than one of these
- My ribbed hat pattern
Advent gift: I have no idea yet, honestly. I generally make her a hat, but I am not sure that she will want one this year. I did fingerless mitts last year and I think I have seen her wear them twice. More to come on this. I at least need to keep my eye out for projects that she may like.
Random make: I am considering knitting a knitvent hat wreath. Jodi Brown has a pattern for one and I think it would do great to stash bust my small yarn quantities, and also would be really cute for over my office door.
That is at least a start. A solid plan. If I can list it, I can achieve it!
Loves,
M
